So,.. here goes, my first blog lines :o) I have arrived in the country of my ancestors, yes, I'm back in The rainy and chilly Netherlands. I arrived at 9.20am this morning (7.20pm Sydney time) The trip was,.. hmm,... LONG! I had little sleep and not so entertaining entertainment to keep me occupied. I must admit that seeing the city scape of Sydney fade away in the distance was a little emotional too. (You know me ;o)
Saying bye to everyone is so hard, but somewhere inside it doesn't feel like this is a forever goodbye.... Like Michelle said: it's a "see you later". One thing for sure is that I have gained treasures of friends and would not have wanted to miss the experience of the last 4 years for the world!
I will be staying at my dad's in Eindhoven for a few days and will then drive up North to Groot-Ammers (near mum) with my brother Johan to settle in a little place of my own, which has been made available for me for three months, whohoo! I'll get to rest, read, rest, draw, paint, relax and read a bit more. I am looking forward to seeing my old friends again and reconnecting with them. But other than that, there are no real plans yet, so I guess till next time ;o)
